Fall Into Grace

The great year 2026 has been a doozy whomper, with lots of learning and new growth. I have been coming to terms not only with old trauma, but also with current challenges and stressors. There is that old adage: “What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.” I am experiencing it to be true. I am finding peace amid the pushes and pulls of life’s changing seasons. Fall is so much about embracing change and letting go, while creating new and updated systems and structures of organization, enjoying summer’s bounty, and planning for the winter to come.

I keep reminding myself that LOVE is eternal. These past five or so years have held a few too many losses of loved ones. Since 2024, I have also had a few near misses of a very serious, life-threatening nature. I find myself sad and scared sometimes, and it is mostly unconscious. Messages are popping into my awareness. They are not things I am “thinking” about, but things I am “feeling” underneath the surface. One of the positive outcomes of shock and trauma is that I am learning to relax more. Love wins. It brings me back. Love is connection.

It gives way to feeling and understanding in the moment. Moving through shock: “It didn’t happen.” “It did happen, but what happened?” “What condition am I in?” “Are there people to help? Yes!” It turns out there are a great many helpers! It is instinctual for people to help each other. There are a whole bunch of people who care and know what to do in difficult situations. They are everywhere. With this feeling of gratitude for all those helpers, I truly feel that gratitude practices work. Why do they work? Because you are thinking about things and pouring love into them simply by thinking about them. The energetics of love cooperate with pain, grief, sorrow, and unrest. Love completes the pain cycle and restores balance and harmony. Heart to heart, soul to soul, mind to mind, body to body.

Being touched by beauty and sensory experiences activates a resonance through the words, “How grateful I am for...” Whatever the numerous reasons may be, saying, “How grateful I am for that...” is a word-frequency generator. The words generate a field of energy, and speaking them with love amplifies their power. “Let go, let God” is a maxim I have heard over the years. I often repeat, “Let go, let God,” giving myself permission to believe, trust, and slow down, especially when experiencing physical pain. Pain puts you in “the now.” Being in “the now” is something I have grown to experience more and more recently. “The now” feels calm and open and holds great potency. The renewal I am now experiencing after recent stressful challenges is, in great part, due to the use of flower essences.

To my wonder, I have truly experienced ease beyond what I could have imagined during some very hard things. I am a crier. I cry for the entire 90 minutes with my Flower Essence Therapist, ready to be heard by someone who listens so well. She understands and recognizes my patterns, the complexities of my life circumstances, my innate struggles, and my handicaps. She is authentic, as is the field of Flower Essence Therapy. The flowers speak directly to our souls and emotions. They soothe and heal us in deep, subtle, and powerfully transformative ways.

The most recent Flower Essence Remedy she put together for me is remarkably perfect. This formula contains multiple botanical and gem essences: Soul Support Blend (Alaskan Flower Essences): For release, renewal, and trauma repatterning. Quince (Flower Essence Society): Strength with heart; firm love in relationships. Centaury (Bach): Articulating needs and self-advocacy.

Columbine (FES): Spontaneity, original self-expression, and creativity.

Red Larkspur (FES): Enthusiasm that energizes and inspires others.

Wild Iris (AFE): Connection and creative flow.

Black Spruce (AFE): Attunement to guides and the soul’s wisdom; past-life knowledge. Blue Topaz (AFE): Calms the mind while bringing clarity, organization, and spiritual connection.

Penstemon (FES): Courage and endurance for vulnerable inner parts.

Shasta Daisy (FES): Organizing narratives, strategic planning, and writing.

Lemon (FES): Expansive and focused thinking.

California Valerian and Lavender (FES): Soothing the nervous system and releasing the need to control outcomes.

Forget-Me-Not (FES): Understanding the karmic dimensions of relationships.

Birdseye Gilia (FES): Building internal structures to receive spiritual guidance and blessings.

Yarrow (FES): Energy-field resilience; it also holds the entire formula together. Flower essences, and specifically Flower Essence Therapy, have gotten me through these dark passages and back into an embodied and illuminated state of mind and being. My emotions, as well as the charges and triggers surrounding certain “things,” have lessened greatly. I am profoundly humbled and delighted by the new growth emerging from these tragedies.

I LOVE this about the cycle of life, death, and the in-between, which some call “Eternal Life.” Along with “Eternal Life” goes “Eternal Love.” Shine your light and love brightly upon yourself and your needs while receiving the bounty of wisdom and goodness available during this precious time of fall’s harvest and golden light. I help high-achieving, caregiving women who are carrying more than their share of responsibility. These women may be running on empty, disconnected from their bodies, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them.

Through gentle, integrative support for the body, mind, and energy, I help them release what they have been holding, feel like themselves again, and return to their own inner wisdom and balance
