AUTUMN MEMORIES

Hello and Happy Autumn 2026. As one ages, it seems only right to go back in time to relive milestones and memories that made up a life, a journey like no other on this planet Earth we call home. You may have felt, like I have in recent years that time and the seasons are racing to complete their yearly cycles. August is still here and Autumn is showing it cannot wait to arrive.

Life definitely is moving faster. I have been wondering if it is due to my age. My numerous Birthdays tell me I am in the Autumn Season of life. When physically, and mentally my mind and body refuses to believe it. Maybe because I am blessed with good health for which I am very grateful. Winter the Wisdom cycle will have to wait because I am in no hurry. Birthdays all seem to arrive earlier each year. Is it just me? Or is Time racing ahead and so is our lives.

The Seasons and Cycles of Human Life Some time ago, I decided to do a comparison on how human life in the Northern Hemisphere mirrors nature. Both has four cycles. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Here are some examples: Spring is a happy, joy filled youth blooming into life. Summer fully matured. In full bloom. Autumn in full glorious maturity, we let go of the old to welcome the Winter. Winter, the slowing down cycle allows us time to rest and reflect on all that we had accomplished in each changing season of life. Not every soul will stay for all Seasons. Many came for the Earth experience, then left.

A Life Well Lived I have lived a full life, experiencing all the lessons I came to learn including experiences I never imagined, and others I did not know I was experiencing until it was over. The last one was swimming in a creek in South America that was home to Alligators. However, that is another story. Souls come and Souls Leave I have been solo now for 9 years, and as the years go by, I seem to spend more time saying goodbye to loved ones and dear friends.

All remain in my heart as priceless memories. Over time, new souls arrived to fill the empty spaces in my life and heart. Many came to teach me new lessons for my spiritual growth. Not every soul brought love, peace and joy. There were deceptions and betrayals. I got a taste of what many of my clients often expressed to me and it opened my world as never before. It is never too late to learn. As long as you breathe you will learn life’s lessons.

A dear friend who was a client for years, and with whom I worked to support during the time of her unhappy long-distance relationship, was brutally frank. She told me she realized I never grasped the depth of her pain at being deceived, betrayed and lied to. She was right. As her therapist, I was there for her, I supported her and I helped her heal and move on.

All the while missing the intense deep hurt and pain she was experiencing. I had never experienced any of that. I was married to a man who loved, respected and protected me. So why am I sharing from the deepest areas of my soul with you and the world at this time? It is all about Soul Lessons. Soul Lessons and Experiences. In order for me to be able to meet women on their level, as their therapist and understand their pain and their suffering I was sent a Soul Lesson.

I believe that souls decide when they are ready to experience and learn specific lessons, and many souls often leave soon after, while others stay to share their wisdom. Souls are eternal and only the body and personality they adopted for their earth visit dies. A wise elder told me when I was very young that I was an old soul. It went right over my head. I was about 10 at the time. How could I be an old soul. That soul information was helpful years later when I got interested in soul work. As a teenage another wise teacher told me we choose our parents before we are born because we want the lessons they will teach us.

I had just shared that my father was an Alcoholic and it was impacting the lives of myself and the rest of the family. I placed that knowledge in my memory bank and over the years it has served me well in my Therapy Practice. Gratitude For Every Lesson Learned Today, I look back with profound gratitude for all those souls who shared their wisdom with me. My teen years were rich with lessons that prepared me for my Reiki Practice and Soul Work. I was trained at every stage of my life. Having studied every healing modality that my soul craved, I finally used Reiki and my Transpersonal Psychology (Gestalt) training as my niche. All the while incorporating the numerous other healing modalities when needed. Our Souls Reincarnate I had learned early growing up that souls reincarnate on this planet for as many as a hundred lifetimes or more, and that souls are all lined up for a chance to come to Earth.

They all return for the human experience and human lessons which is the reason they take on a completely different personality each time. Soul Knowledge It was probably 20 years or more that the Universe led me to find Dr. Brian Weiss MD. Dr. Weiss is a psychiatrist with a practice in Maimi who when regressing his patients found they all had past lives. He wrote many books detailing his client’s past lives. When I found his work, I knew I had found my teacher for a subject that fascinated and intrigued me. I immediately purchased his books Only Love Is Real and Many Lives Many Masters and studied Past Life Regression Therapy. I practiced on my friends, and they loved it, and were surprised at what they uncovered and learned about their past lives.

I later experienced many regression sessions where I saw some of my past lives. When Dr. Weiss came to Canada about 7 years ago, I got to experience his work firsthand as he regressed 1000 plus attendees who were all there to learn from him. Most were doctors, medical professionals and therapists. Lessons Life Taught Me About Reincarnation I believe it was Tesla who said we are energy, frequency and vibration. Our body dies. Our soul is eternal. The soul carries its original energies of love, and its unique frequency and vibration through all lifetimes. We have all at met someone, either male or female who felt familiar. Sometimes an immediate connection is made.

Often, the opposite happens. No connection even though one party felt it. I recall interviewing a new client whose energy was familiar. I asked, “Have we met?” My client said “No”. Without thinking, I replied, “it must have been in a past lifetime.” The quick response was “I do not believe in past lives.” I had connected on a soul level to a memory of a kind, caring and gentle soul. I let it go. This soul had returned this lifetime with the same soul and a different personality. At that time, I had no idea about the personality change each soul takes on when returning. However, here was another teacher on my path who taught me never to mentioned Past Lives to a new client ever again. The Soul vs. The Personality The soul is familiar; the personality is not.

Knowing this answered the question for me that I had wrestled with for years. Which was: why a soul I recognized from a past lifetime did not recognize me. Today, I am wiser, and I send that soul love on its new assignment. Spiritual Mentors and Teachers I am grateful for the many wise Spiritual Teachers and Mentors who have over many years enriched my life with their teachings. When I needed them most, they appeared. Why have I shared the Soul and Past Lives? I have no idea how this all unfolded when I had a completely different theme in mind. Spirit has a way of directing my life and my ever-changing work. I surrendered and I went with the flow.

All I can say is, maybe some souls needed to hear this. Lessons learned: Souls are eternal and we never stop learning. Speak less. Listen more. Gratitude is a daily prayer, and Love speaks louder than words. Forgiveness is a gift so be generous, and Earth is a school where souls come to learn. Happy Autumn 2026.
