My Favourite Romance Movies on Netflix
Grab some popcorn and a fuzzy blanket. It's about to get romantic.

I've put together a list of my favourite romance movies on Netflix. Have a movie marathon with your boo, or your cat, or just your beautiful self, but make sure you give these movies a watch! Some people say that romance movies are cheesy and unrealistic, but I love that you can just forget about your problems and lose yourself in something light hearted, funny, cute, and romantic. So with that being said, here we go. Enjoy! 💕
Falling Inn Love
This movie is so charming. Seriously, the main character gets to leave the hustle and bustle of city life and fix up a countryside inn with a hot contractor and gets a pet goat named Gilbert? Sign me up. She also meets super cute couple Peter and Manaaki when she first moves to New Zealand, which sets up the whole movie to be adorable.
From IMDB: When city girl Gabriela spontaneously enters a contest and wins a rustic New Zealand inn, she teams up with bighearted contractor Jake Taylor to fix and flip it.
In My Dreams

I had never heard of this movie before it showed up on Netflix. I loved it! I was hesitant to watch it at first, I don’t even know why, but after finishing it I was glad I finally clicked on it. I got so invested into the story that I was on the edge of my seat, waiting to see if the main characters were going to find each other! This movie is a reminder that dreams really can come true!
From IMDB: Natalie and Nick are frustrated with their luck in romance. After tossing coins into a fountain, the two then begin dreaming about each other. But, according to fountain mythology, they only have a week to turn those dreams into reality.
Always Be My Maybe
I saw this movie right when it came out and was surprised to hear that people didn’t watch it. It’s really funny and heartfelt! My absolute favourite part is when Sasha gets into a fight with her fiancé... you’ll know what I’m talking about when you see it. Now that I saw her do it, I like to do it too when a boy is making me mad 😉.
From IMDB: Everyone assumed Sasha and Marcus would wind up together except for Sasha and Marcus. Reconnecting after 15 years, the two start to wonder - maybe?
When We First Met
Honestly, for some reason I didn’t want to watch this movie. When I first heard about it, it sounded too much like another movie I’d seen. But I love Adam Devine and think he’s really funny – so when I saw it come up in my Netflix suggestions I gave it a chance. Now, it’s one of my favourite Netflix romance movies! It has a great message, and a plot twist I didn’t expect.
From IMDB: Noah meets Avery at a Halloween party and falls in love but gets friend-zoned. 3 years later she's engaged to someone else. Noah uses the photo booth time machine several times to return and fix things. Will it work or...?
Dog Days
This movie has a ‘Love Actually’, ‘New Years Eve’ kinda vibe, and it didn’t really catch my eye when it first came out. But it has Vanessa Hudgens in it and looked cute, so I watched it. Well what I didn’t expect to see was a few sweet love stories tied into the dog owners’ lives, and one particularly lovely story that might come as a surprise. And also, cute dogs. What more could you want in a movie?
From IMDB: A group of interconnected people in Los Angeles are brought together by their lovely canine counterparts.
Forever My Girl

I’m always a sucker for a country romance. And a country romance that has a country star come home for his sweetheart? Even better. But of course there’s more to the story... you’ll have to see for yourself. Not to mention, it’s written and directed by women! I love it!
From IMDB: After being gone for a decade a country star returns home to the love he left behind.
Set It Up

Ok, I admit. I’ve watched this movie twice...ahem... many times. It’s just so cute! And the chemistry between the main characters is. so. good. I’m surprised that more of my friends haven’t watched this one. I highly recommend you watch it… ASAP! Also, it was written and directed by two women! Awesome.
From IMDB: Two corporate executive assistants hatch a plan to match-make their two bosses.
Are there any movies I missed that you love? Let me know in the comments!
