It can reduce your risk of developing conditions like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis and some cancers.
Walking with others can make exercise fun!
It’s free and doesn’t require any special equipment or training.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing, and appropriate footwear to avoid blisters and shin splints.
Drink plenty of fluids before and after your walk. If you are going for a long walk, take water with you.
