Over the last 30 years, Erica Hollingdrake-Weir has called on the same GRIT which carried her from a 5’ 4” guard on the basketball court to a community leader with an unwavering heart for activating the potential in others. Through the Mentoring Moms program she co-founded in 2017, Erica spearheaded an initiative that turned mountains of uncertainty and doubt into mountains of possibility. For the women who served as mentors, the program alleviated the mountain of uncertainty about their ability to contribute to another woman’s personal and professional development.

For the women being mentored, the program shifted the mountain of self-doubt that complete strangers would invest time and energy to support their growth. In addition to the wisdom Erica has gained from her own experience, she references the wisdom of Jay Shetty and Gretchen Rubin.
